As it currently stands, students need a successful completion of 11th grade at the Gymnasium level. Here it is important to note that students who have achieved the Upper Level at Realschule (Mittlerer Bildungsabschluss) can only transfer to the GIB® (Gemischtsprachiges Bakkalaureate) level at our school if they have achieved a grade average of 3 in the written subjects and a grade average of 3 in the non-written subjects. However, the student’s work attitude is also important for admission to the GIB®. A final decision on admission to the GIB is made at a class conference with the participating members of the Board and the Embassy.
