Last week, Class 11 students participated in the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibition, an internal assessment worth 33% of the final TOK grade that requires students to demonstrate how knowledge manifests in the real world. Students must select one of 35 prescribed prompts and choose three specific objects—real-world items or digital artifacts—to illustrate their chosen theme. The final submission consists of the objects themselves and a written commentary explaining how each object links to the prompt and the nature of knowledge.
The exhibition is designed to be highly personal and rooted in specific, concrete contexts. The students prepared and presented a robust mis of real-world awareness and developed critical thinking skills to create a unique blend of objects and relate them to the students’ personal experiences.
