As part of our joint project with the Lycée Bonaparte, the students once again had the opportunity to explore the topic of sundials in depth. The workshop focused not only on how different types of sundials work, but also on their practical construction and alignment.
The equatorial sundial was the focus of this project day. Using geometric tools and precise measurements, the participants were able to design their own sundials and gain a clear understanding of important physical principles. This hands-on activity demonstrated how theoretical concepts from the classroom can be applied in a concrete way and brought to life.
Our collaboration with the students and teachers at the Lycée Bonaparte was once again very enriching and made the workshop a successful and inspiring experience.
