Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit our website.
Cookies, which are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions desired by you (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 EU GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for technically error-free and optimised provision of his services. When other cookies (e.g. cookies for the analysis of your surfing behaviour) are stored, these will be treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Our pages include plugins from the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. You can recognise the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our page. An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
If you do not want Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook account, please log out of your Facebook account.
You can change your Twitter privacy settings in your account settings at https://twitter.com/account/settings
Our pages use functions of Google+. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Collection and disclosure of information: Use the Google+ button to publish information worldwide. The Google+ button gives you and other users personalised content from Google and our partners. Google stores both the information that you have given +1 for content and information about the page that you viewed when you clicked +1. Your +1 can appear in Google services, such as search results or your Google profile, or elsewhere on websites and ads, along with your profile name and photo.
Google records information about your +1 activity to improve Google services for you and others. To use the Google+ button, you need a public Google profile that is visible worldwide and must contain at least the name chosen for the profile. This name is used in all Google services. In some cases, this name may also replace another name you used when sharing content through your Google Account. The identity of your Google profile may be displayed to users who know your email address or have other identifying information about you.
Our pages include functions of the Instagram service. These functions are provided by Instagram Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.
If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of these pages, we are not aware of the content of the data transmitted or how Instagram uses it.
On our site we use social plugins of the social network Pinterest, which is operated by Pinterest Inc. 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94103-490, USA (“Pinterest”).
When you access a page that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Pinterest’s servers. The plugin transfers protocol data to Pinterest’s server in the USA. This log information may include your IP address, the address of the sites you visit, which may also include pinterest features, the type and settings of your browser, the date and time of your request, your use of Pinterest, and cookies.
5. Analysis tools and advertising
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 EU GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising.
We have activated the IP anonymity function on this website. This will cause your IP address to be shortened by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
Objection to data collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is put in place which prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.
Order data processing
We have a contract with Google for order data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities for the use of Google Analytics.
Demographic features on Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time from your Google Account advertisement preferences or opt-out of Google Analytics collecting your information as described in the “Opt-out of data collection” section.
Google Analytics Re-marketing
Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Re-marketing in connection with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This function enables the target groups created with Google Analytics Re-marketing to be linked with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-related, personalised advertising messages that were adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behaviour on one device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).
Once you give your permission, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account for that purpose. This way, the same personalised advertising messages can be delivered to every device you sign in to with your Google Account.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create cross-device ad targeting.
You can permanently object to cross-device re-marketing/targeting by disabling personalised advertising in your Google Account by following this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
The summary of the data collected in your Google Account is based solely on your consent, which you can submit or revoke via Google (Article. 6 paragraph 1 DSGVO). For data collection operations that are not merged into your Google Account (for example, because you do not have a Google Account or have opposed the merge), the collection of data is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 EU GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in anonymous analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Further information and the data protection regulations can be found in Google’s data protection declaration at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for the sending of the requested information and do not pass the data on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter registration form will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6 paragraph 1 EU GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing processes already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this.
This website uses the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
MailChimp is a service with which the sending of newsletters can be organised and analysed. If you enter data for the purpose of newsletter subscription (e.g. e-mail address), these are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA.
MailChimp is certified according to the “EU-US-Privacy-Shield”. The “Privacy Shield” is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.
With the help of MailChimp we can analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an e-mail sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the e-mail (so-called web beacon) connects to the MailChimp servers in the USA. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked. In addition, technical information is recorded (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are used exclusively for statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you do not want MailChimp to analyse your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a link in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.
The data will be processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6 paragraph 1 EU GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by cancelling the newsletter. The legality of the data processing processes already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data stored for the purpose of newsletter subscription will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of MailChimp after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this.
Further details can be found in the data protection regulations of MailChimp at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.
