In our social studies unit on the topic of “air,” we learned a lot of new things and conducted exciting experiments. We discovered that although air is invisible, it still has power and can move things. We found mankind’s ancient dream of flying particularly interesting. That’s why we also carried out lots of experiments to build the perfect paper airplane – and, of course, to test it.
To wrap up our series, we had a special visitor: A real pilot from Qatar Airways came to our school. On project day, he explained everything about flying to us. Together, we conducted more experiments and were able to ask lots of questions.
At the end, every child received a certificate as a memento of this exciting learning journey.
