The seal of quality “Excellent German School Abroad” is awarded to German schools abroad after they have successfully completed the Federal State Inspection (BLI). The BLI was introduced in 2008 by the Conference of Ministers of Education and the Bund-Länder Committee for School Work Abroad as a tool of Pedagogical Quality Management for German Schools Abroad.
