On Thursday, September 10, 2026, the DIS Doha invited families to a special Family Afternoon after classes. The event offered parents and children the opportunity to get to know teachers, administrative staff, members of the school board, embassy representatives, and partners from extracurricular institutions and organizations such as Soul for Music, Spider Tricks Company, Stryx Sports (NBA), Hamad Bin Khalifa University (German Language Center), Westbay Medicare, Qatar National Library, and AHK in a relaxed atmosphere.
New families were warmly welcomed and had the opportunity to get to know the school community better. The children enjoyed a variety of activities in the sports hall, including basketball with the NBA and an obstacle course with Spider Tricks. Coffee, drinks, fruit, cookies, and other refreshments contributed to the friendly atmosphere.
The afternoon provided a valuable opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and celebrate the community that makes the DIS Doha such a welcoming place.
