On December 9, the German International School welcomed the French jazz ensemble “Electric 4tet”. The class 6 students took part in a workshop that gave them a deeper insight into the world of jazz music.
During the workshop, the children were given an introduction to jazz instruments and the history of jazz music. They then had the opportunity to reinterpret a piece together with the band and thus actively engage with this style of music.
Special thanks go to the German and French embassies in Doha for the organization, as well as the music faculty of the DIS Doha for the support and successful implementation of this musical project.
