The children from the kindergarten and the primary school awaited St. Nicholas’ visit with great excitement and visible joy. They had lovingly prepared cookies and milk to greet him and welcomed him full of pride.
Singing cheerfully, the children sang several songs to St. Nicholas and showed how hard they had worked. St. Nicholas then turned to each group personally, found warm and encouraging words for the children and praised them for their teamwork and dedication.
Of course, St. Nicholas also had presents for all the children, which he handed over with a friendly smile.
