This year, the German International School in Doha (DIS-Doha) proudly celebrates 15 years of excellence in education and cultural exchange. To mark this special occasion, we organized the “Festival of Cultures”, which showcased the diverse nationalities in our school community with traditional food, music, dance and beautifully decorated stalls.
Highlights included a lively flag parade, a waltz opening by our class four students, a rousing performance by our pop choir, Emma’s musical performance and an enchanting performance by our Kindergarten children. We also had the honor of seeing Qatari singer Dana Al Meer perform at the opening.
Special guests included Mr. Freischlader, the German Ambassador, and Oliver Moritz, the Head of the Board, along with other Board members, whose presence made the event even more memorable. We also thank Ms. Sharaf, our parent representative, for spearheading the organization of this wonderful event.
The DIS-Doha has been committed to providing world-class German education in Doha, Qatar for 15 years. Our journey has been characterized by growth, learning and success, thanks to the commitment of our staff, students and families.
As we celebrate this special anniversary, we thank everyone who is and has been part of the DIS-Doha family.
