The visit of the Traffic Police Department on Sunday, 05.06.2011, was, among others, one of the most thrilling and eventful trips of the Kindergarten during the second term. All children were allowed to sit in a police car with a droning siren that excited them very much. Besides the first-aid kit and GPS the children were shown the entire equipment in the police car. Afterwards, we were guided through the different departments such as the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency, information office, fee/ penalty department etc., and we also met the manager of the police department. Additionally, all children watched a movie about road safety (red and green traffic light, car seatbelt). At the end, a uniformed ultralarge police manikin said goodbye to all children.
