On September 29, 2025, the Main Hall was transformed into a place where democracy was put into practice: students in classes 4 to 12 elected their new student representatives. Once again, the organization was in the hands of the Class 11, who ensured that everything ran smoothly as part of their CAS lessons.
Our principal, Herr Darmstädter, opened the event with a welcoming speech. He emphasized how important it is to learn and practice democratic principles at an early age. The election of the student council offers an excellent opportunity to do so.
Before the candidates presented themselves, the school community took a moment to thank last year’s student representatives, Frau Kamenarov and Herr Berthold, for their dedicated work.
Then the excitement began: with the support of Class 11 student Ahmad, Herr Reichel and Frau Dünnebier guided the audience through the program. Two teams stood for election – Team Julien and Team Anas. After brief introductions and an interesting question and answer session, all eligible voters had the opportunity to cast their votes.
Team Julien emerged as the winner. The school community congratulated the newly elected representatives, who will now represent the interests of their fellow students, with loud applause. We wish them much success, commitment, and joy in this important task.
Parallel to the student representative election, the election of the liaison teachers also took place. Here, the students re-elected Frau Kamenarov by a large majority. We also extend our warm congratulations to her!
