On the third day, our students and their exchange partners visited the teamlab Phenomena in Abu Dhabi, where they were given an impressive insight into digital art. The interactive installations were met with great interest and enthusiasm by all participants.
This was followed by a trip to the beach on the Corniche, where the students spent the day playing numerous games, doing sports and eating together in a relaxed atmosphere. In the afternoon, they returned to their host families and were able to round off the day with some personal interaction.
The fourth and final day of the exchange began with a celebratory presentation of certificates for special achievements in the respective disciplines. Sadly, it was then time to say goodbye, as it was time to head back to Doha.
The student exchange in Abu Dhabi this year was once again a particularly enriching experience. In addition to sporting ambition and diverse cultural impressions, the main focus was on encounters, mutual respect and lively exchange. The experiences gained and the shared adventures will certainly remain in the students’ memories for a long time to come.
We are already looking forward to welcoming the German International School Abu Dhabi to Doha next year.
