Very likely almost every child in Germany knows ‘Die Sendung mit der Maus’. This show has been contacting ‘Mouse Classes’ for several years and we were very lucky to be the ‘Mouse Class’ at the DIS Doha: Class 3B. So, one day the class teacher was contacted by the editors of ‘Die Sendung mit der Maus’ to find two children from the ‘Mouse Class’ who wanted to participate in the new format called ‘Maus WeltWeit’ (Mouse WorldWide). In this program, children all over the world have their say in a telephone interview and questions are answered, such as: “How do you live in Doha? What is the school like? What do the children play? Do people live differently here than in Germany?” Enthusiastically, Josefa and Lara immediately agreed and did the interview. Listen to it here, or just go to the website of ‘Die Sendung mit der Maus’ if you want to have more interesting insights about the life of children elsewhere in the world.
