IB Start
The German International School Doha will start from the new school year 2016/17 with the International Diploma Program. We are delighted to offer a university entrance qualification for many International Universities and German Universities. We are delighted to be here in Qatar and we would like to invite you warmly to the IB launch
on May 26th, 2016 at 9.45 am
in the premises of the German International School Doha. With a brief ceremony we would like to welcome the IB for the next school year together with you and His Excellency Ambassador Hans-Udo Muzel.
1001 books
In a parents’ initiative , together with the German International School Doha the idea of this project arose: „1001 books for our library .”
The initiative supports the library of the School. We came up with the idea in one of the last parent conferences. Principal Mr. Dillschneider stated at that conference that the school library has only around 1000 books. Our intention now is to provide a more attractive selection of books to the children and to improve the procedure of ordering and transporting the books. We would be very happy if you support us for the benefit of our children. Therefore we developed donation-packages. Many thanks to Monica Menendez, who summarized the list of books together with educators and teachers of the kindergarten and school.
