A very special appointment awaited us on 5 September: Together with the chairman of the school board Oliver Moritz, Diana Guthmann (acting principal, DIS Doha) and Tabea Thomaschke (head of kindergarten, DIS Doha) welcomed Nihada Hodzic and Bing Han, directors of the German kindergarten Villa Kinderwelt to our school.
The idea is to jointly offer services for German speaking parents and their children and to share resources. In view of the rapidly changing German community in Qatar and due to the fact that our kindergarten at the DIS Doha cannot accommodate all children, we are happy to have found a competent partner in the “Villa Kinderwelt”.
“Even a small cake only tastes good together”, Diana Guthmann emphasized. We are now looking forward to round 2, then on the premises of the “Villa Kinderwelt”.
