Due to the unfortunate ongoing circumstances in Afghanistan and the influx of afghani citizens who seeked refuge in Qatar, the school community decided to donate a variety of items such as clothes, hygienic products, toys and necessary food items like babyfood, powdered milk etc.. With help of the IB students in our school on Tuesday the 31st of August and Thursday the 2nd of September a stand was set up infront of the school building gate in order to receive the donations from parents, teachers, students and anyone who was willing to donate. Later on they were able to sort and categorise all the items donated, and deliver them to multiple middleman organisations for them to pass it on to the people in need. We want to give a special thanks to Frau Hackland and Herr Zorn who offered to help us transport the boxes to the designated drop off places.
