Barefoot Path in the Kindergarten
We perceive the world with all our senses! In keeping with our DAF (German as a Foreign Language) theme “My Body, My Senses,” our employee Amanda from the Hasen -Gruppe (Rabbit Group) built a barefoot path together with the Kindergarten children. The children discover how different materials feel and learn to describe their perceptions in German:
(e.g., “ Das Holz fühlt sich hart an (The wood feels hard).” / “Das Gras ist weich (The grass is soft).” / “Die Steine sind kalt (The stones are cold).” / “Das Wasser ist nass (The water is wet).” / “Das Luftkissen fühlt sich wachselig an (The air cushion feels waxy).” etc.)
