The following measures are part of quality assurance:
- Observation and documentation of the learning and educational processes of each child
- Surveys of parents, children and staff
- Further development and continuation of the kindergarten concept and publication thereof. The concept of the kindergarten of the DIS Doha represents the current state of our work. However, the conditions for our institution are subject to continuous change. Consequently, we have to consider, critically analyse and review our practices again and again.
- Evaluation of considerations in team meetings: These evaluations include the organization of the entire sequence of our educational work, case studies, the review of suggestions made by employees, parents, children, the school association, etc. Decisions are made and the educational work is analysed.
- Further training and literature: Further training ensures, improves and expands the qualification of teaching staff and ensures the quality of daily work. Further training courses for employees in kindergarten take place once or twice a year and are the foundation of a good education. Employees have a right and a duty to expand their knowledge and to keep it up-to-date.
- Designing and updating of the DIS Doha homepage
- Annual performance review meeting between the management of the kindergarten and each employee
- Collegial work shadowing in kindergarten is part of a feedback culture . We regard this method as a form of in-house feedback for a successful development of everyday life in kindergarten. Development of quality is based on a thorough appraisal. For this purpose, employees open their group rooms and entrust colleagues with work shadowing, including subsequent feedback.
