Do you remember? In autumn 2016, the private initiative ”Werktag.org“ launched the campaign “1001 books for our school library” together with the German International School Doha. Since then nearly 600 books have been collected. Another big package containing a total of 420 books arrived now from Germany: donations from the two book publishing houses Fischer Jugendbuchverlag (Fischer FJB) and Fischer Taschenbuchverlag (FTV), as well as from the bookstore „Rübezahl“ from Dillenburg. We received further donations from ”Werktag.org“ as well as personal donations from Doha residents. Thank you so much for your commitment. We now have many new books for young people from 14 years onwards! So come quickly to the library and borrow!
