On April 24, our schoolyard was transformed into an atmospheric open-air stage: Under the title “Live Music under the Stars”, the DIS Doha welcomed the renowned CineMoon Ensemble, consisting of members of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors Röder Qatar and Brand Expression, who provided an inviting welcome tent and an impressive photo wall, as well as the Retaj Salwa Resort & SPA Hotel, which provided culinary finger food delicacies, the evening was also a special experience outside of the musical program.
In front of over 200 guests, the CineMoon Ensemble, hosted by our student Emma Klausner, presented a rousing program of traditional dances from a wide range of cultures and countries. As a special surprise, our school band also performed – first with its own contribution at the beginning and then together with the ensemble for the grand finale.
It was an evening full of music, community and special moments.
A big thank you also goes to our partner team Show Station from Helsinki, who professionally prepared our event team for the evening as part of a week-long training course and then carried out the event together with us.
We are already looking forward to next year, when it will be “Live Music under the Stars” again:
“Live Music under the Stars” at the DIS Doha!
