On the initiative of Jörg Fürstenau from the German Embassy in Doha, we had the great honor of welcoming football world champion and former PSG star Julian Draxler to our school. The current Al Ahli SC player took a lot of time for our students: he fulfilled every autograph request and patiently answered all questions. An unforgettable highlight was a joint training session that will be remembered for a long time. Seeing a world champion up close was an unforgettable experience for everyone – Draxler was open, likeable and inspiring.
Such special encounters not only promote enthusiasm for sport, but also enrich school life in a special way.
