In 2011 Ms. Thomaschke created the children’s charity Organisation Dominiño in the Dominican Republic and managed a primary school with a kindergarten. Together with her NGO, she has been volunteering for less fortunate children ever since.
In her native country Germany, she has gained experience for over 10 years in the education field pertaining to kindergarten, primary school and as a teacher in a music school.
Through advanced training programs, she qualified as a childcare center director and specialist for language development.
In addition to her educational career, she worked as a TV journalist in Asia and South America and developed numerous episodes for the educational TV show Galileo, KIKA (Kids Channel) and other German television programs.
In 2020 she moved to Qatar with her husband and has been working at the German International School Doha ever since. In summer 2021 she took over the management of the kindergarten and the pre-school.
