The winners of the reading contest at the DIS Doha subsequently participated in a joint international reading competition along with the German Schools Abroad in Jeddah, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi via Zoom on June 16. This competition had its premiere this year.
Despite a fair amount of stage fright, our candidates were able to place themselves excellently among the best of the best in the region.
Out of a total of four first places to be awarded, two went to our DIS Doha. Furthermore, a second and a fourth place could be achieved.

These achievements should be an incentive for everyone to continue reading diligently to successfully represent our school again next year.
