On the 8th of December our school community celebrated the 10th anniversary of the GIS Doha with many guests. Amazing highlights turned this event into something really special and unforgettable! Some students and kindergarten children presented the very first school t-shirt, of which the logo was designed by the student council.
The audience loved the performance of the anthem that was especially written and composed for this occasion. The German text that was combined with an Arabic melody represents our school perfectly. Our little ones enjoyed the official opening of the outdoor facility of the kindergarten and all the offered activities outside and inside. Of course, good food and drinks couldn’t be missing on such a day.
Thank you very much to Rawda al Zaidan (Director of Private Schools Affairs – Ministry of Education and Higher Education), Rashid Al Amri (Ministry of Education and Higher Education), Hans-Udo Muzel (Ambassador of Germany), Dr. Willy Kempel (Ambassador of Austria) and Edgar Dörig (Ambassador of Switzerland) for coming and joining our celebration.
