On the occasion of the first moon landing, the interesting project „Humans on the moon“ took place at the DIS Doha from the 25th till the 27th of March. The students from class 7-10 did some project work regarding the first astronauts that landed on the moon and also regarding the take-off, flight and landing of rockets. They also learned how rockets are built. On Wednesday, the 27th of March, the students presented the results of the project to the students of class 5/ 6 and to interested parents and teachers. Of course, the students especially enjoined testing the water rockets that they built by themselves. Thank you very much to Mister Immo Kadner and Mister Bernd Schirmer (NaWiSchool) for their visit and the implementation of this special project! We also thank Mrs. Dorfmüller for the organization of this project!
