›Die Wachauer‹ at the German International School Doha
Actually, we do not have to say too much about the appearance of Wilfriede Emberger and her daughter Christine with the folk dance group “Die Wachauer“: It was a m a z i ng!
The dancers conquered the hearts of all pupils and all visitors! From the crown dance, the dance of the millers up to the maypole dance – everything was presented with a lot of “Juchhe”, loud trampling and calls of the dancers. In between Christine Emberger explained the national costumes and the tradition of the folk dance in Austria. The big finale was a common dance – including headmaster Dirk Dillschneider …
