As part of a three-day ceramics workshop led by the talented Qatari artist AlReem Behzad, the students of the Class 11 art course of the IB programme delved deep into the world of clay. They learnt about the unique properties of this medium – which malleability and plasticity are truly fascinating. In practical exercises, they experimented with various techniques, such as the construction of objects, the modelling of details and the design of surfaces. The workshop provided an inspiring environment in which the art students could explore their creative limits and realise their individual artistic visions.
