On the 14th of December, the German International School in Doha hosted its joyful Winter Bazar, organised by the dedicated parent representatives. Families, friends, students and staff came together to celebrate the season with music, performances and festive activities.
The event opened with inspiring words from the Principal about the history of Christmas markets and continued with a warm welcome address from the German Ambassador. A cheerful choir performance filled the air with festive spirit.
The market was a hive of activity with a variety of vendors offering unique goods, treats and services. School classes also participated with their own stalls selling homemade crafts, delicious baked goods and organising fun activities. A puppet theatre organised by our kindergarten provided entertainment for the younger visitors. Guests were able to enjoy other attractions such as creative gingerbread decorating, an exciting lucky draw and the vibrant tree fashion show, which showcased imaginative and festive designs.
The event ended with a cosy singing of winter songs, accompanied by Mr Reichel and Mr Szabo, which created a warm and festive atmosphere and brought the community together.
A big thank you to the parent representatives for organising such a memorable celebration!
