On 15.9. the new German Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Doha was warmly welcomed by the school management at our school.
Dr. Claudius Fischbach, who started his work in Qatar in August 2020, and the head of the cultural department Diana Wiese, spent a lot of time during their visit. They found out about the history and education system of the German School in Doha starting when it was founded in 2008 and admired our spacious outdoor facilities on the tour of the school grounds. Enthusiastic, last but not least by the national diversity of our school community, visitors and hosts ensured that they would continue to enjoy good and intensive cooperation. We look forward to it and wish Ambassador Dr. Fischbach a good time in Qatar!
At the same time, we would like to thank Mr. Hans-Udo Muzel, the previous German Ambassador in Doha, for the last few years of good cooperation and wish him and his family all the best for the new post.
