Regional Training „Working with Heterogeneity – ‘Inclusive Practices’ at a German International School”
From 15th to 17th March 2018, the German International School hosted an international training with teachers from different German schools in the Gulf Region an Turkey for the first time. Under the leadership of our regional advisor Mr. Reese and our support coordinator Ms. Liessneck, the educators discussed the stage of development at their schools regarding inclusion, the possibilities and obstacles of working with the heterogenous student body and development of structural changes.
Inspired by interactive workshops, discussions and input, new projects and concepts were developed to improve the successful work wit
h diversity at German schools in the region and the often sensitive work of their faculty.We thank the trainers and all colleagues for their input, their interest and engagement and are looking forward to the next training!
