We celebrate the QND!

Qatar National Day at the German International School Doha

The National Day of Qatar, officially committed the 18nd December, was already celebrated on 14.12. in our School. The German International School Doha celebrate this day in gratitude for the support and hospitality of Qatar and wants to express its attachment to the people and culture of this country. As official guests, we welcomed Mr. Rashid Alamri from the Ministry of Education and Mirja Deponte from the German Embassy in Doha.

Also on this day the honor and winner certificates of the Federal Youth Games 2017 were distributed to the great athletes of the school, the certificates of the reading winner of the Anatolin reading program were handed over and the winners of “Hello-Weekend” were honored. Also, some students received recognition for their ”Special Engagement“ to the school.
We thank all the volunteers and helpers, especially the “Lesepaten” of the school for their commitment: Mrs Fernance, Mrs Khan, Mr Deponte, Mrs Dannenberg, Mrs Moga und Mrs Whyte.

We also thank the Retaj Hotel West Bay for the wonderful cake, as well as our Qatari parents at the school, who provided the event with flags and decoration and donated the great buffet!
