The class 10 students achieved better results than the worldwide average in the final examinations in the subjects German, mathematics and English taken at more than 140 German schools in the last school year.
Students in the graduating class attained results in the examinations in the subject German (“Gymnasialschüler”) that were exactly in line with the worldwide average; the “Realschule” students were even better than the average. Worldwide, the average score was 2. 8, while our average score was a good 2. 5.
In the subject English, the examinees were a whole grade point better, with a grade of 1. 7, than the worldwide average of 2. 7 in the examination results.
In mathematics, last year’s graduating class was also significantly better than the global average. DIS Doha students achieved a grade of 3. 3; worldwide it was 3. 6 and in the secondary school branch DIS Doha achieved a grade of 2. 5; worldwide the average grade was 2. 6.
More than 2800 students from German schools abroad took part in last year’s final examinations.
