Another part of the proceed of the wintermarket was donated to the Qatar Animal Welfare Society. “QAWS” is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization in Doha dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned, neglected, or stray animals.
As a non-profit, they depend on public donations and support to continue their operations. Every single dirham counts!
On the occasion of the donation handover, the adorable Labrador Milo visited us, along with his owner and QAWS volunteer, Briony. We were able to present Briony with the impressive sum of QAR 4.000.-
Milo, of course, also received a treat for his visit.
