As part of the celebration of the National Day of the State of Qatar,
The DIS-Doha Arabic department conducted some activities to promote Qatar’s national identity.
- Class 10 students showed video clips about the State of Qatar, which ended with a competition among all students.
- Fun games: a game to memorize the names of Qatari cities on the map + a puzzle game with Qatari landmarks + a Qatari henna activity.
- Drawing and painting workshop.
- The Qatari Council Corner: Traditional Qatari stall where you could drink Karak tea and try Qatari sweets.
- Photo corner where children could take photos with the Qatari characters “Hamad” and “Lolwa”.
