Last Tuesday, 23.05.2023, the annual Principal’s Cup at the DIS Doha was held once again. Prior to the actual Principal’s Cup match, a handball match was held as a sportive farewell for the students of Class 10. Class 10 was able to narrowly win against a selection of students from classes 7 to 9.
In the subsequent game for the traditional Principal’s Cup, a selection of secondary school students competed against the teachers’ handball team. Initially, this was a relatively one-sided game in favor of the student players. However, by the end of the first half, the teachers’ handball team had narrowed the gap to just two goals. After a hard-fought second half, the teachers still had to admit defeat to the students with a score of 21:14.
The sports faculty would like to thank everyone involved for the fair and sportsmanlike competition and wish the class 10 all the best in their future athletic endeavors.
