On May 23, 2024, class 3a organized an exercise course for the DIS-Doha preschool with the following activities: Football, basketball, yoga, gymnastics and a quiz on healthy eating. At the five stations, the students took on the role of coaches and patiently and sensitively guided the preschool children. They tried out each station with fun and enthusiasm. At the end, the “trainers” handed out a healthy snack to the young participants. It was a great experience for all the children and both the preschoolers and class 3a received high praise at the end.
The project was developed as part of the Physical Education and Health unit. From brainstorming to planning and implementation, the students – with a little support from the class teacher – were very committed to implementing the exercise course independently.
