On January 14th, the music competition „Kinder musizieren” took place for the first time. This competition was set up to promote young musicians at the German International School in Doha. 13 students from classes 1 to 5 took part. The students convinced the jury and the audience with musical contributions on various instruments. Compositions were played on piano, violin, cello, trumpet, guitar and drums. All participants achieved excellent and very good performances. At this point we would like to thank the jury, consisting of Christina Wenigwieser (primary school teacher), Julia Karnebogen (art teacher), André Reichel (music teacher) and Maya Dasan (first prize-winner of the “Jugend musiziert” competition 2019).
