… these are just the three best-known jester’s calls during “Fasching” time, when the festivities around the 3-day carnival in Germany begin. If you do a little research, you’ll find an incredible number of these callouts from clubs and groups that accompany the foolish season. For example, “Has-Has-Narro!”, “Schnarragagges-Heidenei!” or “Gockelores-Kickeriki!”
Of course, in pandemic times everything is different and again this year the big parades will not take place. Nevertheless, for carnival fans there are always ways and means to be merry together during the “fifth season”. Even here with us at the German International School in Doha … You’ll see!
