In the dignified ambience of the Westin Hotel Doha, class 10 graduates celebrated their middle school graduation with their families, teachers, friends, members of the school association and school board. Our sincere congratulations to the graduates!

Today we have again a reason to celebrate, for 3 years I am now principal of the German International School in Doha and I can hand over certificates.
It’s a high honor for me and for the colleagues as well, you have all successfully passed the exams, you made it and we are all proud of you, very proud. You have mastered the written exams in Math, German and English and successfully passed the oral exams in Biology, Chemistry and French.

All in all, DIS Doha has achieved a good result among more than 1000 exams worldwide. You have achieved a good result. You now have the chance to reach the next milestone. I would also like to thank the parents for the manifold support and trust placed in the school community.
The German International School in Doha will be 10 years old in October 2018. For the past five years graduates of the German International School in Doha who are at home all over the world. I thank the colleagues and especially the class teacher, the administration for the varied and great preparation.

Dear graduates, the average of all grades is 2.0 – a fantastic result and that’s what distinguishes you. You are well prepared for your future, no matter in which school system. We have experienced many things together. I have got to know you and I am more than happy to hand over these certificates together with your class teacher. This undiscovered land – the future – is full of challenges, but I can assure you it’s full of great and beautiful experiences.

In particular, I would like to honor for excellent academic performance the year’s best Yara Shomar. The best student in the field of art education is Merit Faske, the best graduate in biology is Simone Steel, the best student in mathematics is Tarik Karic – congratulations and we also have a little present for you.
