The sports highlight for the primary school at the end of the school year was the dodgeball tournament between classes 2 to 4 last week. The tournament was played in a group and a final round and took place during the regular sports lessons. The tournament ended with the match for 3rd place and the grand finale on Thursday, where all classes were able to watch and the atmosphere in the sports hall was great. The biggest surprise was achieved by class 2b by finishing in a strong third place. In the final it was the classes 3a and 3b who had to duel for the winner’s cup. Following a long back-and-forth, it was class 3a that secured the victory, and thus 1st place.
From the beginning to the end, the competition was very sportive and fair. The students were able to experience a great tournament with many spectators. This already sparked anticipation for more tournaments in the new school year.
