Kinderstadt (children’s city) – a city just for children? A city imagined by children? A city to which adults have no access? A city where every adult would bang his head because the shelves finally hang in such a way that a child can reach them? No school ever? All the houses painted brightly? And are children allowed to drive a car? Are the children themselves actually the police then?
The beautiful project “Kinderstadt” is now almost a tradition in the ethics lesson of class 5 at the DIS Doha. This year we also had a lot of fun together creatively designing. The products show that all students of class 5 thought about the coexistence of children and that in the end we realized: Without rules it does not work! (We worked on the basis of page 50 of the textbook “Abenteuer Mensch sein” published by Cornelsen (2006)).
