On the evening of May 20, our school community celebrated the farewell of our class 12 students to school life.
With the utmost secrecy, the students of the GIB, organized their own graduation ceremony, so that the guests were in for a breathtaking surprise when they were received in the main hall. Splendidly decorated, the room was almost unrecognizable and gave the celebration a very unique and festive touch.
Although the results of the GIB finals will not be released until July 6, students, parents, friends, and teachers celebrated the end of an important stage of our students’ lives beforehand. Principal Frau Guthmann and GIB coordinator Frau Karnebogen presented graduates Salah, Noor, Yola, Zeina, Karim and Anton with their certificates. Moments of farewell, humorous but also thought-provoking speeches and numerous photo moments ensured that we will not soon forget this event.
The DIS Doha keeps its fingers crossed for the upcoming results and wishes the graduates all the best for the future and a good start into their new phase of life.
