We commemorate the reunification of divided Germany 30 years ago on October 3rd.
The 3.10. is an official holiday in Germany and is celebrated with tributes and festivals all over the country. The largest celebration usually takes place as a city festival in Berlin around the Brandenburg Gate and on “Strasse des 17. Juni” – with many guests, speakers, music groups and stalls. These festivities are largely canceled this year due to the corona pandemic, but there will be live streams to be seen in addition to face-to-face events under corona conditions. So this year it will even be possible for us to be there too!
