I studied art and history at Kiel University, Germany. While teaching at several schools in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, I was drawn to work abroad for the first time in 2011. After two years of teaching at a Hungarian high school in the Slovak Republic, I was particularly interested in working at a German school abroad.
This is how I came to Doha in the fall of 2016. Very quickly, I took the country, the people and the DIS Doha into my heart.
