The 2025 IB Art Exhibition presented a powerful and personal collection of works by our six Higher Level Visual Arts students. Over the past one and a half years, these young artists have embarked on a creative journey – one rooted in reflection, discovery, and courageous self-expression.
Each piece in the exhibition tells a story. Through a wide range of media and techniques, the students explored themes drawn directly from their own lives – connections to their origins, cultural backgrounds, and the personal challenges they’ve encountered along the way.
What is home? Where do I come from? What has shaped the person I am today?
These were the central questions that guided their artistic process. The result: a thoughtful and moving exploration of identity, belonging, and transformation. The works are as diverse as the students themselves, yet all share honesty and emotional depth.
We are proud of the vulnerability and insight each artist brought to their work – and grateful for the chance to glimpse the world through their eyes.
