The IB students participated in the Collaborative Sciences Project (CSP)<\/i>, a mandatory component of the International Baccalaureate sciences curriculum designed to encourage interdisciplinary cooperation and inquiry-based learning. In this project, students worked collaboratively in teams composed of individuals from different scientific disciplines, integrating perspectives from subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, environmental systems, and other sciences in order to address a shared real-world issue.<\/p>\n
The CSP emphasizes the application of the scientific method through investigation, analysis, critical thinking, and evidence-based problem solving. Students were required to engage in effective communication, teamwork, and collective decision-making while exploring complex global challenges that cannot be solved through a single scientific perspective alone.<\/p>\n
A central aim of the project is to develop students\u2019 collaborative and research skills by placing greater importance on the learning process rather than solely on the final product or outcome. Through this experience, students strengthened their ability to work cooperatively, evaluate scientific information critically, and appreciate the value of interdisciplinary approaches in addressing contemporary issues affecting society and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
