The German School Community PopChoir<\/i>, in which not only students but also parents and teachers sing together, can look back on two extraordinary performances for which the participants have been preparing intensively over the past few months.<\/p>\n
The first performance took place at the invitation of the Austrian Embassy in Qatar as part of the celebrations for the Austrian National Day and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Austria and Qatar. With the songs Millionen Lichter<\/i> and Live Is Life<\/i>, the choir thrilled the audience and provided a musical highlight at this special event.<\/p>\n
The second major performance followed shortly afterwards: at the invitation of the German Embassy in Qatar, the German School Community PopChoir<\/i> sang at the Day of German Unity celebrations at the St. Regis Hotel. Against an impressive backdrop, the singers performed the songs Feuerwerk<\/i> and Wind of Change<\/i>, accompanied by the string ensemble \u201cBassiCelli\u201d of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n
These two performances were undoubtedly highlights of the school year so far and will remain in the memories of all those involved for a long time to come.<\/p>\n
