Traditionally, the men&#8217;s ties are cut off by the women. In order to bring this fun custom to life at the DIS-Doha, class 4 in Ethics worked together to make ties out of paper and wool. The students then put them on, went to the main hall and ceremoniously cut off each other&#8217;s ties. They then moved on to the teachers&#8217; room, where they put the ties on the teachers and cut them with the slogan &#8216;snip, snap, tie cut&#8217;.
