Activities are geared towards a specific topic and are designed to support children in every area and to help them develop their skills.

The daily routine in the kindergarten is designed in such a way that it provides sufficient time and space for educational activities both in the morning and in the afternoon and takes the biological rhythm of the children into account. Working in age-mixed groups offers children additional motivation to learn from each other and with each other.

The so-called concentration and recovery phases, i.e., the alternation between rest and movement, concentration and relaxation, noise and silence, create a structure of the daily routine in the kindergarten. This recurring everyday structure is a reliable guideline for the children and provides them with a sense of safety and security, and orientation, while at the same time, promotes their independence.

In addition to the group events, an integrated support for German as a Foreign Language (DaF) and English are essential components of the day-to-day activities. These offers either take place in the group and / or in smaller groups or as individual work.

Once a week, a sports class of approximately 60 minutes takes place for each group in the sports hall.

Our course of the day in detail
(changes are occasionally made)

7:30 – 8:00
The children are taken to their kindergarten classroom. They go to their groups and greet their teacher.

8:00 – 8:30
Children arrive in their groups, free play

8:30 – 9:00
Breakast time (each child brings a healthy breakfast from home)

9:00 – 9:30
Morning Circle with children’s topics, welcome, explanation of the day’s programme, etc.

9:30 – 11:30
Free play, guided thematic activities, project work in the group rooms, time for physical motion, indoor and outdoor, (depending on weather conditions, in summer only in the indoor area due to the high temperatures), daily integrated German and English programmes as well as special offers for children in the last year of kindergarten.

11.30 – 12:30
Lunch in the cafeteria

12: 30 – 13: 30
Siesta (for our children who have a nap, in a separate room) or quiet play and crafts activities in the groups.

13:30 – 14:20
Fruit snacks and Closing Circle

14:20 – 14.30
Pick-up time

Overview Kindergarten concept:
> Our Mission Statement
> Educational Orientation
> Daily Routine
> ”Open Work“
> Facilities
> Younger and older children under one roof
> Room and time to rest
> Areas of Education
> Learning experiences in the game
> Children in the last year in kindergarten
> Public relations
> Observation and Documentation
> Quality Assurance

In designing the daily routine, we take children’s need for orientation and reliability into account.
